mxtabs shut down
i was opening my usual favourite tab site and was wondering whats taking it so long. i den googled it and found out that is has been shut down!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mxtabs : Mxtabs.net was a music tablature website from 1999 to 2006, offering free guitar, bass, and drum tablature, in addition to music reviews and instrument lessons. The site shut down in June, 2006 in response to claims made by the MPA about the supposed illegality of music tabs. All that remains of the former site is the forum.
what the hell is this man! i always go to mxtabs to get my jeng jeng...ppl post the songs that they have tabbed on their own so other ppl will be able to play it too...it is just a place for ppl with the same interests to share what they have learned...it has got nothing to do about copying the artistes or pirating any work that the band has worked hard on!...sharing songs is a different thing, but sharing tabs with ppl who just learned and tabbed it out on their own! dats a totally BS reason to go against mxtabs! they should just get a life! bladi morons
mxtabs closed down once, and directed all users to a dumass forum..i was wondering wth happened to it...when it came back once again i bet the world, including me, was overjoyed...and now MPA & RIAA pressured them to closed it again, probly permanently this time... ".....the Music Publishers' Association threatened websites that provided lyrics or tabs with jail time in addition to fines and shutting the websites down."
im so pissed with this...if sharing knowledge is illegal, they might as well shut down the whole internet!!... this is basically what i would say too --> www.digg.com/tech_... and read what mark hoppus frm blink182 has to say... this is total bs man...pretty soon these good-for-nothing ASSociations will shut down all sites that provides lyrics..and den ring-tone sites..and den sue anyone who even dares open their mouth to sing their artists' song
now i have to take my down my mxtabs link also... no more jeng jeng =[=[=[=[=[=[=[... i'll maybe just leave it there la in remembrance of my first and favourite tab site... i'll hv to use ug now...those dumasses better not lay their freaking fingers on them!
